Blue Ice Wine UK was founded in 2020 by two friends who met in 1999 whilst serving in the military in the Balkans. We share a love of good wine.
We only work with small, multi generational family owned vineyards and wineries in the Balkans. Our initial selection is sourced from Croatia, but we'll soon be offering a wide range from the region.

All our Croatian wines are 100% Croatian and each winery makes its wine from grapes grown and cultivated on their specific vineyard, whether they are the indigenous Plavac Mali, or the global Chardonnay. Our producers combine artisan growing techniques with the latest production equipment and methods, giving each wine old-world character with modern quality standards. Our multi-generational wineries all feature unique and compelling offerings.

There are believed to be well over a hundred different grape varieties native to Croatia. Croatian grape varietals include Plavac Mali (red), Teran (red), Malvazija (white) and Posip (white).
Stina
Deriving its name from the white stone of the island Brac, Stina meaning stone. The island has housed many artists over the years and the makers of Stina wine are no different. They see their wine as a work of art to be shared with the world.
Stina project, as one of the most comprehensive wine projects in Croatia, began in 2009 when Jako Andabak, leased a cellar from the Agricultural Cooperative of Bol.
Benvenuti
The Benvenuti winery is situated in the quiet Istrian village of Kaldir, overlooking nearby Motovun. Three grape varieties are grown there - Malvasia Istriana, Teran and Muscat. Throughout history, these varieties have been giving the best results in Istria. Benvenuti is committed to using this unique territory sustainably, with gratitude for being a small part of it.
Franc Arman
The Franc Arman Winery, in Istria in northwest Croatia, was established in 1850. Still a family owned business, led by Franc and Oliver Arman, the winery spans 20 acres, and produces indigenous Malvezija and Teran wines, along with international varietals, such as Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Merlot.
